Dogtown wants to see your work! 

 

On rotating Fridays each month at 8 PM, Dogtown Dance Theatre hosts an Informal Showcase Series for artists to perform work.

This FREE event is open to the public! This mission of this series is to connect Richmond's diverse community of artists to create a network where we share ideas, make connections and perform our newest endeavors. Works can include, but are not limited to: dance, comedy, improvisation, theater, poetry, music, etc.

​

Artists perform up to 7 minutes of work, followed by a short feedback session, creating an environment where everyone can ask questions, generate discussions and dive deeper!

​

Since this is an informal event, performance lighting is minimal and artists are responsible for their own sound/music, but please feel free to bring props or costumes (at the moment we cannot allow pieces that use tap shoes, animals, fire, or glitter).

​

This series is first come, first served! Only 7 artists per show!

 

Performance space is unobstructed: 25' X 31'

Dogtown will promote this event over social media, but we encourage participating artists to invite an audience!
